We hope you all had a great week. Below is a schedule for finals week. If your student will be absent during finals week, they need to connect with their teachers to find a time to complete their finals.

Next week we will have our PTA Raven Rally Fundraiser on Thursday November 21st! We hope you can all make it. Here is a link to purchase tickets. Tickets include food and drinks!

High School Athletics Calendar and Registration

Tryouts and Official Practices for the 2024-2025 CHSAA High School Winter Sports Season:

  • November 11– Ice Hockey   
  • November 18-  Girls Basketball, Boys Basketball, Girls Wrestling, Boys Wrestling, Girls Swimming and Diving, and Skiing.  
  • The full 2024-2025 CHSAA calendar can be found here.

In order for your student to participate in tryouts and official practices for the 2024-2025 school year, your student must have:

  • A completed and submitted arbitersports/familyid registration.
  • A current physical exam must be on file with the high school athletic director. 
  • A transcript review for eligibility 
  • An approval from the high school athletic director

Activities

PTSA
The Raven Rally Auction and Fundraiser is next week, 11/21, and tickets are still on sale at https://south.bebids.me. You can also still donate or buy a $100 egg for entrance into the drawing for an amazing Denver staycation (proceeds go to the After Prom party). Here are some additional details to get you excited about the event:

  • It’s a pep rally for parents. Wear your best South spirit gear or dress up as your favorite athlete. If you don’t have gear, don’t fret. We’ll have a school store set up where you can stock up
  • Ticket price includes entertainment by the South HS jazz band, dinner, and an open bar
  • There will be a wine pull, heads or tails, and the special drawing from the Raven’s nest for a chance to win a Denver staycation
  • There are amazing silent and live auction items up for grabs. If you are unable to attend, you can still bid on the silent auction and parent parties. More details on how to do so will be available next week

We’re looking forward to a fun night with a great community of parents. Can’t wait to see you all there!
