Spring Sports Update
Boys Lacrosse: Our lax team put the State on notice with an opening season win over Regis and has not looked back, registering three more wins to remain undefeated and garnering a #4 ranking in 5A. Big league games coming up vs Cherokee Trail, Cherry Creek and CA should be fun to watch!
Girls Lacrosse – on the girls side our lax performance has been equally impressive. Aside from a recent 1 goal loss to Evergreen, the squad has been dominant posting a 4-1 record overall and earning a #7 ranking in the State Lax poll. Next week we play our rival Denver East at All City Stadium on 4/10 at 530pm!
Boys Volleyball – Our newest sport at South has been an instant sensation! Boasting a 9-2 record overall, these high flying Ravens are having fun in their first season as a CHSAA sports team. Come out and see them in action!
Girls Soccer – Our soccer squad is also off to an impressive start with a 4-1 record overall! A young, talented team who fared well in their early non-league games and should handle their business in the City League leading up to a showdown with East for the league title. Come out and see them in action!
Girls Tennis – Our varsity tennis team has been dominant in the early season, posting a 4-1 record overall. The strength of any tennis team is their depth at all 7 lines and this team will be tough to beat in league play as we have talented players across the board. Go Tennis!
