2.17 Update from Principal Goss

Posted May 19, 2023

Dear Denver South Students and Families,

We hope you had a great week. Reminder, there is No school for students Monday 2/20 and Tuesday 2/21. When we return, students will continue with their Wednesday block schedule.

If your student plans on registering for a spring sport, be sure to do so this weekend. Registration closes soon.  Athletics will be hosting a spring sports info night on Feb 23rd in the cafeteria at 6pm.

We would like to shout out our BSA for a great Black History Month Assembly and all of our students/staff that performed. Thank you to our PTSA for sponsoring the food that was provided. The theme was Black Resistance Music and the assembly highlighted the musicians and music that kept Civil Rights activists and citizens motivated and empowered to continue the elusive American Dream of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.  Dr. Michael Benitez, Vice President for Diversity and Inclusion at Metropolitan State University of Denver, was the keynote speaker.

Have a great four day weekend Ravens!

Go Ravens

We are Denver South

Sincerely,

Principal Goss
