Denver South Parents, Guardians, Students and Community,
I am very excited to welcome you all back to the 2022-2023 school year. As we move into this new year I want to welcome you to South. I am looking forward to partnering with you to continue to make South a caring, productive, and safe environment for all students, staff, and community. It is my hope that all that come to South feel as if they are supported and are giving the chance to grow and succeed.
As we get closer to welcoming students back starting with 9th graders on August 22, 2022 and all grades starting August 23, 2022 I wanted to to give families the opportunity to meet with me during open office hours. On Thursday August 11th from 1 PM – 7 PM, Friday August 12th from 8 AM – 2 PM, and August 17, 18, and 19th from 2 PM -4 PM, I will be hosting open office hours for parents and guardians. If you have questions or just want to come and say hi and meet the new principal please come during these times. These will be drop in time slots of ten minutes.
Finally, Class schedules are now available in Student/Parent Portal. Please check your classes for accuracy and to ensure that you have the required classes for graduation. If you notice a mistake and need to request a schedule correction, have a question about how to access your class schedule, or are a Senior needing to schedule your MANDATORY Senior Meeting, please read this document. All schedule corrections must be submitted through the link in the document. Know that schedules may change up to the first day of school as counselors work to balance classes.
